Are you passionate about savings and non-financial risk? Swedbank is strengthening its savings area and is looking for candidates to support a strong risk culture and drive improvements in the area

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
  • Contribute to continuous and active non-financial risk management

  • Support leaders and employees to handle non-financial risks in the running business, handle incidents and create a risk conscious, learning culture

  • Conduct continuous Risk Assessments

  • Support change owners and managers in conducting such as New Product Approval Process (NPAP) for the savings business including advisory, investments, pensions and insurance

  • Support in Markets in Financial Instrument Directive (MiFID) and Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) related requirements from a risk management perspective

  • Support risk owners within the business unit in defining risks including mitigating actions and follow up on these

What is needed in this role:
  • A relevant academic degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent qualification

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of the Markets in Financial Instrument Directive (MiFID) and Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) regulations and understanding how they impact compliance, risk management, and customers within the banking sector

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of traditional universal banking; experience from operating in units with complex advisory is meriting

  • 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with proven experience from non-financial risk management or compliance

  • Solid analytical skills, high integrity and a risk based and solution-oriented mindset

  • Ability and experience to improve and implement structures and processes

  • Solid experience of handling senior stakeholders

  • Excellent collaboration skills to develop the business and find new solutions.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Swedish & English
